Dishwashing is as important as the cooking process.
Well begun is half done, but the rest depends on how it’s wrapped up. Those in charge should be able to finish their jobs. If jobs that require help from several people in the final processes or are jointly carried out are postponed or handled roughly, other colleagues may have to put more time and effort into them. Moreover, if your colleague falls behind schedule due to your work, even though it may look like your job has been well completed temporarily, eventually it will be delayed or bring about low quality results.
A responsible attitude is always required to perform tasks.
